Our Progress in 2022 & What’s Ahead

Happy New Year 2023, dear Wanderers!
One good resolution for Faerian in 2023: keep the blog up-to-date! There’s incredible content we’re planning to share with you in the upcoming weeks, including the artists’ interviews from our Collection #1.
I shall inaugurate 2023 by telling you a bit more about the story behind Faerian, and show you the progress we’ve made in 2022, our first year of operations.
Prelude to Faerian
Faerian started with a young woman (me), in a grown-up job, in a quest to reconcile with her skills with her childhood passion: fantasy art & literature.
As a kid and teenager, fantasy art had opened her imagination greatly. It inspired her with a great number of stories and incredible characters to write about. She made many loyal friends through online and IRL role-play games.
As an adult, her fantasy writing skills had helped her better navigate the most difficult parts of her life. Through self-transfer, she found out stories are often better agents than longer explanations.
Later, she wanted to share that gift of fantasy art with others.
But how?
The NFT market was booming, opening a new door to all digital artists worldwide, but she couldn’t see any of the artists she loved there.
On top of that, she couldn’t find any traditional gallery showcasing those artists; only modern, contemporary art which she didn’t always understand.
To reconnect to the imaginary world, she knew most people had the option to play videogames (but those were addictive and time-consuming), watch Netflix (same issue), or read books. She thought: “I mustn’t be the only grown-up wishing for a simple way, like art, to reconnect with the world of fantasy – am I? Well, if nobody else is doing it yet, here’s my chance.”
Thanks to her grown-up job, she understood technology and knew her artists probably didn’t have time to learn about it. Maybe she could bridge a gap by becoming their agent! She decided to create an art gallery, encompassing both the traditional & NFT world, curated specifically for fantasy artists, regardless of the art medium.
So with this goal firmly in mind, she quit her grown-up job and started her biggest passion project ever: Faerian.

I am really proud of Faerian’s progress in 2022.
While I initially thought we’d do physical exhibitions in the very far future, we were able to have our first one in December! And we have at least 2 more lined up in 2023: Expoverse Miami March & NFT.NYC April.
The list of people willing to help Faerian keeps growing, day by day. Thanks to everybody who’s helped so far, in any way possible! I dedicate to you this beautiful post from September:
My artists frequently send me support messages, which means a lot to me. I’m so happy to help them to grow in the NFT & art world and to benefit from their trust.
My eyes are delighted with beauty every day I look at our first collection. I’m so glad when I hear other people saying the same, the first time they look at it.
And I can’t wait to show you the next collections we have in store!
Here’s to 2023
