This artwork is the final submission from the artist G3N3ZIS for the ‘Humanity’ event by the Faerian gallery. The artist created this piece in 3 days, inspired by a prompt that was submitted by the public. In a unique twist, instead of being interpreted by an AI, this time the prompt was brought to life by a human artist. The entire creative process was livestreamed online and at the NFC Lisboa event.

How is your final artwork related to the prompt?
— I tried to stay as true to the original prompt as possible. I changed the gender to her since i felt it fitted better to my theme. Her name is Ada 49 and you can read her story on my submission page along with her song/poem. In essence the art depict AdaΒ΄s last hour as she slowly enters into a cryogenic state, levitating and thinking about existential question about life and death, what she is and what will happen as she dies. Where does her soul go? Does she have a soul? And at this last moment in life she finds comfort and urge in her joy to sing. Something that was sure in her life. Something that was familiar to her and reassuring. I wrote a poem that would become her last song.
Why did you choose this prompt?
— I’ve always been fond of sci-fi and I found the idea of a cyborg thinking about life and death as something interesting.
Explain more your creative process:
— Much of this is something I dive into in my blog posts and videos but ultimately I wanted to combine the visual with the written to give more depth and emotions to the overall experience along with exploring how I can better convert/express my artistic vision in 3D environment.
