Mia Šerić, also known as Aelin Laer, is a traditional painter and silversmith from Split, Croatia. For the past 15 years, she’s been a true representant of Celtic-inspired art and silver crafts.
She graduated from the School of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2009. She paints with acrylic and oil on canvas, and also masters the creation of silver talismans, with a careful combination of crystals and gemstones.
Mia gathers her inspiration from Celtic mythology, tradition and folklore, specifically Sidhe Lore and Creideamh Sí. She gathers both knowledge and inspiration from books, manuscripts and ancient texts, exploring ancient landscapes and channeling other realms.
Mia is also a member of three Druid orders. She spends most of her free time in forests, by wells, streams and rivers, where she gathers more inspiration and energy for her art.
