A light is shining on the horizon. Is it the sign of a mysterious kingdom? A good fairy? Or is it a bait to lure a warrior? A sign of life, or death? While the symbol of light may be the entrance to enter a fantasy universe, it may also be the enemy. More than presenting a new fantasy story, this first exhibition of Faerian “Light” invites us to reflect on the meaning of light through a window to another world, presented by digital and traditional artists alike. Light and darkness, goodness and evil, hope and despair: these have never been harder to differentiate than today.
