The White Sword, by David Demaret

The White Sword, by David Demaret

"The White Sword"

“The White Sword” by David Demaret is part of the 22 artworks of the Collection #1 of the Faerian gallery on the theme of β€œLight”.

The light here seems to be the sign that the sword is fit to destroy evil, rather than being the source of evil itself. A courageous warrior jumps to cut a giant monster’s arm, who’s about to catch a young lady on the right. Perhaps the lighted sword carries fire or energy sufficient to harm the beast in one go.
