We accept all art mediums

How we promote your artwork
There are three main ways we can promote your talent to art collectors & fantasy fans.
You get to choose the options that fit you best, depending on your art medium.
And before you ask: there’s no fee; we only take a commission on each sale.
Sales can occur at a fixed price or during auctions.
Original artworks
This is the most traditional option, usually liked by painters, sculptors, jewelry makers, etc. We sell your original artworks through our website or a partner. Then, based on where you’re located, we help organizing the packaging, shipping and delivery of your artworks to the buyers. All shipping costs are covered by the buyers.
NFTs
This option is ideal for artists who don’t have a tangible, original piece to sell, like digital artists, writers or musicians, although we also strongly recommend it to traditional artists. An NFT is a unique, digital representation of your artwork, that collectors can buy like a digital collectible card. It is a popular new technology amongst many art galleries worldwide.
Prints/Misc
This option might be appealing to you if you want to target everyday fantasy fans. We partner with other platforms to sell high-quality prints and/or products derived from your artworks.
If you already have an established shop (Etsy, Redbubble, etc.), we’ll also provide a link on our website, so that you can keep going your current activity and still attract customers.
What’s next – Onboarding
Respond to the invitation message we sent you to tell us about your interest and ask any questions you may have. Specify if you're interested in selling originals, NFTs and/or prints/derived products. By default, we plan to sell all of them unless you say otherwise.
We send you a list of your artworks that we wish to display in the gallery, based on your portfolio, and a form to fill with your contact information.
Fill in the contact form, review and complete the list of the artworks with information such as their dimension, weight, image resolution, etc. Confirm that you’re in possession of all the artworks, with no copyright infringement.
Once you have filled all the necessary information, we send you the contract to sign on PandaDoc. It's a platform that makes virtual signatures legally binding. We sign it on our side as well.
That's it! You'll receive a copy of the signed contract by email. Now just relax until we contact you to prepare for upcoming art collections.

Benefits of NFTs
Are you a digital artist? Or a traditionalist looking to expand their income sources? Or maybe you just want to try out new technologies?
Choose to sell your art with us as a Non-Fungible Token (NFT). It’s the opportunity to sell a unique collectible linked to your artwork. It also allows art collectors interested in your talent to invest in your future, like patrons. Instead of a subscription like you may have on Patreon, it’s a one-time payment.
NFTs can be attached to a physical object as well as to a virtual image. This is why we propose creating two types of NFTs to promote your artwork, no matter your art medium:
Digital NFT
We mint a unique NFT representing your artwork on the environmentally friendly Solana blockchain. Buyers can keep it in a digital wallet the same way they would with a digital collectible card.
Physical NFT
We partner with Kreatr.co to print a museum-quality wall art based on your artwork, that will also be minted as a unique NFT on the environmentally friendly Flow blockchain.
Also note that every time this representation of your art is resold to somebody else, you automatically get a commission on that sale, so it is a great way to earn passive income.
NFT owners get two types of perks: the “Guardian Perks” (relative to Faerian), and the “Artist Perks”.

Do you draw, paint, and have access to the original painting of your artwork?
Congrats! You have the natural asset of scarcity, so Faerian can either:
- sell the original painting on your behalf,
- and/or sell a unique NFT representing your artwork (like a picture), that can allow you to keep the original painting.
Your NFT can include different “Artist Perks”:
- The default perk is a high-quality image file with a personal license.
- Other perks, with your preference, can be discounts on prints, free commission, commercial license, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, etc.
Does your artwork exist under the form of a digital file, because you created it with the help of your camera, computer, or graphic tablet?
A digital file is too easily replicable. Thus, the best way to sell it as a rare piece nowadays is to sell it as an NFT. Consider it as the equivalent of the “original” painting of an artist, but symbolically.
Your NFT can include different “Artist Perks”:
- The default perk is a high-quality image file with a personal license.
- Other perks, with your preference, can be discounts on prints, free commission, commercial license, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, etc.
Do you make music with your voice, instruments, or electronically?
The .mp3 files of your music are too easily replicable. Thus, the best way to sell them as a rare piece nowadays is to sell them as an NFT. Consider it, for example, as the equivalent of the “first” vinyl ever created for your music, but symbolically.
Your NFT can include different “Artist Perks”:
- The default perk is a high-quality file with a personal license. The file could be a signed cover of your song, or the written lyrics arranged beautifully, or an exclusive version of your music.
- Other perks, with your preference, can be discounts on your shop, free concert ticket, commercial license, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, etc.
Have you written a short story, a fanfiction, a poem or even a novel?
The text of your writings is too easily replicable. Thus, the best way to sell it as a rare piece nowadays is to sell it as an NFT. Consider it as the equivalent of the “original” book of an artist, but symbolically.
Your NFT can include different “Artist Perks”:
- The default perk is a high-quality file with a personal license. The file could be an exclusive scene from your books, or a text/quote you’ve written arranged beautifully so it can be printed and hung on a wall. Or an exclusive illustration of your book.
- Other perks, with your preference, can be discounts on books, commercial license for the file, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, etc.
Do you create stunning, unique jewels?
Congrats! You have the natural asset of scarcity, so Faerian can either:
- sell unique sets of jewels on your behalf (which you don’t sell in your existing shop, and are unique pieces),
- and/or sell a unique NFT representing your artwork (like a picture), that can allow you to keep the original jewels.
Your NFT can include different “Artist Perks”:
- The default perk is a high-quality image file, representing your jewel, with a personal license.
- Other perks, with your preference, can be discounts on your jewelry store, free shipping on the jewel attached to the NFT, free customization, commercial license, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, etc.
Do you sculpt into the wood, rock, or any other material?
Congrats! You have the natural asset of scarcity, so Faerian can either:
- sell your original sculptures on your behalf,
- and/or sell a unique NFT representing your artwork (like a picture), that can allow you to keep the original sculpture.
Your NFT can include different “Artist Perks”:
- The default perk is a high-quality image file, representing your sculpture, with a personal license.
- Other perks, with your preference, can be discounts on your store, free shipping on the sculpture attached to the NFT, free customization, commercial license, exclusive behind-the-scenes content, etc.
Digital Puzzles
If you accept the option of selling your artwork as an NFT, we might also propose that we sell it as part of a digital “puzzle”: for example, an artwork of yours is split under 500 NFT unique pieces that can be bought separately by different buyers, at a lower price. Please note that every time those NFTs are resold to somebody else, you get a commission on that sale, so again, you are earning passive income.
Preparing the art collections
If some of your artwork is part of an upcoming collection, we will reach out to you at least 2 weeks in advance to confirm important items, such as the description of the artwork that will be displayed on the website or the buyer's authorized exploitations of your artwork.
It's D-Day! If you wish, you can participate in our various online presentation events (private/public), as a special guest or even as a speaker. We may have temporary physical exhibitions in the future as well. Location TBD Remember to invite your existing audience to attend the events, watch & comment on the collection! It's going to be amazing!
It's payday! We show you a summary of the transactions that happened, and you send us your invoice including your local VAT % (if you're subject to it). You get paid in your local currency (PayPal, Wire Transfer) or cryptocurrency (for NFTs).
Happens once the buyer has received the artwork & the legal delay of retractation has passed (between 14 and 30 days depending on buyer's location).
Selling original artworks
If you accept the selling of your original artworks, we will ask you for your preferences regarding packaging and shipping the artwork before each collection. Options will differ based on the country you’re based in:

Remind me, what is Faerian?
Faerian is the first fantasy-focused art gallery and community.
We believe in a virtuous cycle between artists and their audience, the notion of art inspiring art. Inspired by this notion, Faerian has an online art gallery connected to a dedicated community server on Discord. Members are invited to share their reactions to your art and fanart on the server.
Faerian wants to give fanart a proper place and organizes contests to elect the best fanart available. This also allows the creators of the fanart to join the gallery.
The Faerian Discord server also has a written roleplay game section that is based on the art posted in the gallery.
In the future, we’d love to collaborate with physical galleries open to digital art to help your work reach even more people.
Why do you focus only on fantasy art?
Faerian believes fantasy art is underrepresented in traditional art galleries. It’s such a shame because it transports people into a different world, in a way that no other type of art can.
It makes people:
• live epic adventures
• gain magical abilities
• become somebody else
• live in a different universe
• and just daydream in general that there are fairies living in the forest…
Fantasy art describes so many different possible universes!
What sort of art do you accept?
Faerian is open to all sorts of art that conveys a fantasy-related ambiance. Of course, the first “art” that comes to most people’s minds is often visual artwork, but Faerian is also open to music, photography, jewels, sculptures… Anything really that describes this other universe we sometimes dream of living in.
The art must be yours, we do NOT accept plagiarized or stolen work.
How do I make an income?
For you to earn an income, it depends on the type of art you do. Please consult the section “How we promote your artwork” above to learn more about how Faerian works. Basically, we sell either your original artworks, or NFTs representing them, or derived products/quality prints.
In addition to that, you will also have publicity for your other regular income streams. With each artwork listed on the gallery, there will be links to each shop you are working with (Etsy, Redbubble, etc.) and your social media handles of course so that you can keep getting clients from those social media platforms too.
What is an NFT?
An NFT, or non-fungible token, is a unique digital representation of a piece of your work. Its primary purpose is purely symbolic: you don’t actually sell the file of your art – you sell symbolic ownership to your art.
When multiple NFTs are sold for a piece of artwork, it’s like selling “shares” in your artwork, allowing more people to buy it, thus allowing you to get more revenue.
NFTs are popular nowadays for digital artists who don’t have the asset of scarcity physical artists may have. Since you cannot sell an “original” physical artwork, instead you can sell a symbolic, unique representation of that artwork.
That unique representation is “minted” (= created), on a “blockchain”, which is a sort of large database shared by multiple people on servers across the world. Because of the way it is built, that database can never be deleted, meaning your artwork will live forever as an NFT once it is minted.
Can I sell more than just a "symbol"?
Yes! Faerian will discuss with you the available options so that you can give your consent accordingly.
For example, in addition to the symbolic representation, an NFT of your artwork might include benefits such as a discount code on your printed art, a certificate of authenticity, a commercial license… Anything you want. Think of it as a VIP card!

Are your NFTs environmentally-friendly?
Yes! Faerian mints the NFTs on either the Solana blockchain or the Flow blockchain. Contrary to the Bitcoin/Ethereum blockchains, when you transact on Flow and Solana, you consume less energy than you would for a Google search or even an Instagram post!
Faerian is committed to letting people enjoy fantasy art while protecting our beautiful planet.
Do I have to pay anything?
No! Your art was chosen by the gallery, so the gallery takes care of all the related costs incurred by the services offered.
Faerian only takes a commission on the transactions processed on your NFTs, as written in your contract.
Do I need to have crypto myself?
You don’t need to know anything about the crypto space for your art to be displayed on Faerian. Faerian offers the option to pay you via a bank transfer if you wish.
I'd prefer buyers to buy a physical copy of my artworks
Of course! Faerian provides the option to buy a physical copy of your artwork in many ways:
- If you have a tangible, original artwork, like a painting, we can sell it on your behalf. You get paid once the buyer received the artwork.
- We also propose to sell on your behalf physical prints from various third-party platforms. You get paid once a month for the previous sales that occurred.
- If people buy a NFT of your artwork, they can choose to do it within the Flow blockchain. Then, since we partner with Kreatr.co to create a unique museum-quality wall art based on your artwork, they can receive a unique high-quality print at home!
- When your artwork is displayed in the collections, your artist social media profiles are also displayed, so anyone can go and purchase any goodies you sell on your existing platforms.
- When we create the NFT for your artwork, we can add an “Unlockable Content” that the buyer will get at the same time that they purchase the NFT. That content can, for example, include a discount on an online shop where you sell your art currently.
Do NFT buyers buy exclusive rights to my artworks?
By default, no. Somebody buying an NFT from your artwork has no license rights on this artwork, except to display it in their home or to resell the NFT itself.
That said, if you want to grant a personal or commercial license access to your NFT buyer, that is entirely possible.
When we create the NFT for your artwork, we can add an “Unlockable Content” that the buyer will get at the same time that they purchase the NFT. That content can, for example, include a personal or commercial license title for them to use the artwork in an authorized way.
Can I trust Faerian?
Yes, we hope so! Faerian is dedicated to keeping excellent, long-term relationships with the artists we are serving.
Faerian is an incorporated entity in Paris, France. Faerian will sign a contract with the artist that details all the responsibilities of Faerian with the artist, including the commission part.
We understand that doing everything remotely might be a bit scary sometimes, so, as an artist, feel free to request a (video) call with the Faerian team at any time
