Jan Stěhule is a Czech Republic-based illustrator and graphic designer, known for his adeptness in combining elements from diverse domains such as movies, games, art history, and literature. His work primarily involves illustrations, mixed media, and digital art, and is characterized by its storytelling aspect, inviting viewers to engage with the narratives within.
Having graduated from the Ladislav Sutnar Faculty of Design and Art, Jan’s academic foundation has been instrumental in shaping his artistic approach. His work demonstrates a flexibility and openness, as he creates immersive worlds through his illustrations.
In his professional journey, Jan has collaborated with notable clients including Bára Prášilová, Eva Koťátková, Jiří Kovanda, Karolína Liberová, and Prague-based publishing house PROSTOR, among others. Expanding his artistic repertoire, Jan has also explored animation and game design.
His short animated films and games have been presented at select festivals, including the Kurz Film Festival Berlin and Animánie Gamezone. Recently, Jan has been delving into motion design, integrating various elements of his art into dynamic visuals.
